1. Payment provider role

RideClub does not directly process, store, or handle your card, bank, or payment account details. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers.

Payment provider terms, verification, fraud screening, settlement timing, reversals, and chargeback processes may apply.

2. No ride commission

RideClub does not take a ride commission from shared rides. T&Cs apply.

RideClub may charge platform, verification, subscription, promotional, or processing-related fees where clearly disclosed.

3. Cash and online payments

  • Cash is handled directly between rider and driver.
  • Online payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
  • RideClub may store payment status, payment references, ride amounts, payout status, and support or incident records.
  • RideClub does not store raw card numbers, CVV details, or full third-party payment credentials.

4. Payouts, holds, and disputes

  • Driver payout status may depend on payment confirmation, trip completion, incident review, and operational checks.
  • RideClub may place payouts on hold while safety, support, payment, fraud, or incident reports are reviewed.
  • Chargebacks, reversals, failed payments, disputed payments, fraud concerns, and suspected unlawful activity may affect ride payment and payout status.

5. Fraud and authorities

RideClub may report suspected crime, fraud, identity misuse, payment fraud, threats, violence, harassment, theft, assault, unsafe conduct, or other unlawful activity to SAPS or relevant authorities.
